Back in April I had the pleasure of assisting the incredibly talented Bea of Photography by Bea At South Farm in Royston.
I’ve been regularly shooting for Bea and absolutely adore the beautiful light airy, barn weddings she gets around Hampshire, Surrey and Hertfordshire. Being a second shooter is soo much fun, especially if you usually shoot as the primary – it’s a nice way to really challenge yourself creatively, since you don’t have the same pressures as the main shooter. I really like the pictures I take as a second, but often don’t really do anything with them. Luckily, Bea is super laid back, and happy for me to share some images with you!
Jess and Scott were such a lovely couple to work for, really easy going and up for anything! Just how I like ’em! South Farm is such a wonderful venue, I’ve shot there twice with Bea now, and I still can’t believe how much beautiful space they have there! The gardens are absolutely filled to the brim with flowers – so far I’ve only seen it in Spring and early Summer but I can imagine it’s stunning all year round. It’s a fully functional farm too- the food served comes from the glasshouses, and there are chickens, pigs and and cutest little lambs that newly weds can be pictured with!
