I had the loveliest day in Cambridge with MJ and Ivan on their engagement shoot, MJ contacted me back in March about photographing their wedding, and we were emailing back and forth for what felt like ages before I finally got to meet them both!
We started off at The Northfolk Terrace Gardens. The owners John and Maurice (ex-neighbour’s of Ivan’s) had opened the gates to their lovely Moroccan paradise in the heart of Cambridge as part of the National Gardens Scheme. Vistors pay a small entry fee to raise money for heaps of wonderful causes, including Macmillan UK and Marie Curie. They were so friendly and welcoming and we all enjoyed a glass of wine in the cool, dappled sunlight of this delightful garden.
After a few photos there, we headed into Cambridge to get some more shots around town, Min Jeong and Ivan were very kind to show me around the lovely city of Cambridge, which I instantly fell in love with and very patiently obliged every time I saw a new scene that they just had to pose in!
Shortly after this shoot I was lucky to photograph the wedding of MJ and Ivan, which I hope to blog about soon.
